	Geoffrey Rans		Sept 1953	1960						Geoffrey Rans replaced Ossie Harland. Died in Canada in 2001 of lung cancer. He had had a chair for many years at the University of London, Ontario, and had become a notable authority on Hawthorne. Also well known for his commentary on the works of James Fenimore Cooper

	Colin Wilkinson	Minty	1964	Post-74						As well as being a Maths Teacher, was head boy in 1953 and appears on the photograph of the prefects of that year. He also taught at Wrekin school. Died Nov 2012 at his home in Bramley.
	H C Firth	Fritz	1942	Left abt 1962		y	y			Coached school rugby team in the 1950s. Retired due to ill health. It's hard to imagine it now but Fritz used to smoke in the classroom. One day ( about 1954/5) he was careless and set the wastepaper basket alight!

Anyone trying to be inconspicuous because they didn't know an answer was deemed to be "Lurking" and was then made to attempt an answer.
