Bruce Woodhead won the 1956 Yorkshire Schools Life Saving Championship
under guidance from Stan Wilson the gym teacher.
** Terry Dennison went
on to lead a very succesful career as a swimming coach and I believe
to coach the GB Olympic team and coach to Adrian Moorhouse the Olympic
swimmer.
